A private advisory practice for families, principals, and institutions with interests that demand discretion.
Ladd & Co. was founded to provide a different kind of advisory practice — one that operates as a direct extension of the client, not a service provider at arm’s length.
Ladd & Co. is a private advisory practice. The firm advises and executes across transactions, capital strategy, international structuring, and the management of complex matters across jurisdictions.
We operate as an extension of our clients' interests — a single, trusted point of contact where the complexity of the matter demands senior, principal-level involvement.
01
ORIGINS
The Ladd family's commercial interests span unlisted equities, technology ventures, and thoroughbred bloodstock — including interests in Group 1-winning racehorses.
The advisory practice was established to formalise the family's role as a trusted intermediary - applying the judgement and networks developed through its own principal activities to advise and execute on behalf of others.
The firm is not the product of a merger, a spin-out, or an institutional programme. It was built from first principles by a family with direct experience of the decisions its clients face.

HOW WE WORK
The firm works alongside its clients' existing
professional teams — their lawyers, accountants, bankers, and investment managers.
Our role is coordination and execution: ensuring alignment across advisers, identifying gaps between disciplines, and resolving matters that fall between established advisory mandates.
We do not manage assets. We do not sell financial products. We do not replace existing advisers. We ensure the outcome is resolved efficiently, discreetly, and in the client’s favour.
03
INDEPENDENCE
Ladd & Co. is privately held by the Ladd family.
There are no external shareholders, no institutional affiliates, and no product arrangements of any kind. The firm's independence is not a policy — it is structural. We exist to advise, not to sell.
This independence means our counsel is unencumbered. We are not obligated to any fund, bank, or investment platform. When we recommend a course of action, it is because we believe it serves the client's interest — and for no other reason.
